Various Egyptian stars surrounded their Union on Friday in protest against the attacks on Palestinians in Jerusalem, reported Al Ahram newspaper.

According to the Egyptian publication, the artists constructed a dummy coffin, naming it Tabout Al Dam (Coffin Of Blood), meant to symbolize the death of the young boy Mohmmad Al Darra, who was killed during the ongoing Intifadat Al Aqsa (The Uprising of Al Aqsa). The world had watched, through the lens of a French cameraman, the death of this little boy on the lap of his 5-times-shot father.

The coffin was surrounded with flowers and an array of rocks, in recognition of the weapons used by those fighting for Palestine in face of the Israeli tanks and machine guns.

Meanwhile, Egyptian actor Izzat El Aleily expressed his support for the Palestinian cause on Friday October 6 by calling Palestine’s Satellite television – Albawaba.com.
