Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Maher accused Israel Wednesday of sabotaging peace efforts in the Israeli-Arab conflict and said it acts as a "terrorist" group.
"Israel's assassination of Sheikh Ahmed Yassin is the latest evidence of this Israeli policy," Maher said.
He said Israel was "sabotaging all efforts and ruining every hope aimed at arriving at a peaceful settlement to the Arab-Israeli struggle."
Egypt does not have a partner but rather "a government that is clearly adamant about ruining and destroying all efforts for peace despite efforts by Egypt to bring together all concerned parties," he added, according tp news agencies.
"Israel not only stops at targeted assassinations but announces openly that it will continue these assassinations and says it has a list," Maher noted.
