e-TQM College to showcase its range of electronic services and new technologies at GITEX Dubai 2005

e-TQM College, the Dubai-based electronic educational institution that has pioneered e-learning in the Middle East region, has announced that it would be showcasing a wide range of electronic services and new technologies at GITEX Dubai 2005. e-TQM College will be present in the exhibition under the umbrella of Dubai eGovernment as well as at  the Emirates Computers stand. 

 

At GITEX 2005, e-TQM College will be promoting their latest technological
advancement in the field of e-learning which include the online Admission and
Registration Application, its new ‘click to talk’ service and its latest learning
work space. The college will also highlight its e-services including Quality Hub,
e-Digest and e-Qualtiy Digest, e-Professors, e-Advisors, Digital library and Online Bookstore.  

“With an increasing number of companies and individuals emphasizing on the
importance of online learning and total quality management to enhance efficiency and productivity, we look forward to generating a lot of interest among participants at GITEX 2005,” said Serine el Salhat, Head of Branding and Public Relations, e-TQM College. “GITEX serves as an excellent platform for e-TQM College to promote its new technologies in the region, as the event attracts decision makers and IT industry experts from around the world.” 

 

The online Admission and Registration Application was developed exclusively for e-TQM College by Emirates Computers, which will market and sell the application in the region. Accessible via the e-TQM College's official website, the newly-developed application will allow prospective students to browse through program and course catalogues, apply online by filling the web-base admission application, track the status of their applications, issue payment for registration fees, through the secure payment gate way, fill course evaluation form or simply make an inquiry at just a click of a mouse.

The Click-to-Talk service was introduced by e-TQM College to serve its students and international website visitors to give them the opportunity to talk over the internet with staff members of the college with only a click of the mouse and at no extra cost.

The e-TQM College will soon introduce a new learning solution which hosts its
courses and programs on The Lotus Workplace Collaborative Learning. This new solution will provide students with services that include email, calendaring, instant messaging, electronic learning, Web conferencing, document management and web content management. 

e-TQM's College's programmes and centres of excellence are supported by extensive e-services, which include the Quality Hub, the e-Quality Digest, e-Learning Digest, online digital library and e-professors.

At GITEX Dubai 2005, e-TQM College will also highlight the professional development programs offered by the college’s Centres of Excellence, which thoroughly document the necessary components of quality systems to enable organisations in Education, Health care, Policing and other sectors to deliver valued quality services to customers.
