With track speeds of over 350 kilometers per hour, Formula One cars are not the only thing being driven fast this coming weekend when the Grand Prix gets underway at the Bahrain International Circuit.  British international golfing pro, David Howell will be doing some speedydriving of another kind - hitting some of the fastest balls in golf at around 100 kilometers per hour.  David is a guest of Riffa Views demonstrating his world-leading golfing skills in the Riffa Views Celebrity Golf Exhibition Match on Friday March 10, at Riffa Golf Club.

The exhibition match, open to members and the public, will see Howell challenge two of Bahrain’s leading golfers.  Accompanied by Riffa Golf Club’s PGA Professional golfer, Colin Ferguson, Howell will take on Hamed Mubarak and Nasser Yacoob of Bahrain’s National Golf Team.  Howell, who is ranked number 12 in the world, is a member of the 2004 victorious European Ryder Cup team and was the three-times winner on the European Tour and also won the 1999 Dubai Desert Classic.

“The eyes of the world are on Bahrain at the moment, and with the huge number of visitors in Bahrain for the Gulf Air Grand Prix this is an opportunity to show off the exciting range of top quality sports that can be savoured in the Kingdom,” said Yasser Abdulla, Managing Director of Riffa Views.

The Riffa Views Celebrity Golf Exhibition Match is open to the public and tees off at 1:30pm on Friday, 10th March.  It will be followed by a special question and answer session with the four celebrities, giving golf fans the chance to ask for some insider tips from the experts.

The Celebrity Golf Exhibition Match is sponsored by Riffa Views, the 900-villa property development based at Riffa Golf Club.
