Daesh (ISIS) has kidnapped three African Christians in Libya and published their passport photos, Reuters reported Sunday.
A resident and military spokesman told Reuters the abductions happened in Noufliyah, southeast of the city of Sirte.
Daesh has been expanding its influence in the North African country, which has been vulnerable from the rival factions and lack of a unified government. The militants have been fighting Libya's two governments and executed dozens in the area.
Earlier this year Daesh beheaded 21 Coptic Christians, most of them Egyptian workers, who were kidnapped in Libya.
