ALBAWABA- Chinese President Xi Jinping formally accepted credentials from Mawlawi Asadullah, the Ambassador of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, marking the Taliban's official appointment of their ambassador to China. 

This move positions China as the first nation globally to acknowledge the Taliban ambassador as Afghanistan's legitimate representative abroad.
