Cartier International will inaugurate its Dubai regional headquarters early next month and plans to open 10 boutiques in the Middle East within 18 months, the Gulf News reported Wednesday.
By mid-October, Cartier stocks will be stored in its 10,000-square-foot warehouse at the Dubai Airport Free Zone, where a regional after-sales center will also be located, Richard Lepeu, Cartier president and chief executive was quoted by the daily as saying.
"Cartier will develop its own retail network in the Gulf. It will open a boutique in BurJuman (mall) in early 2001, in Riyadh's Kingdom Mall in September 2001 and then in Jeddah, Kuwait and Riyadh over 18 months," Philippe McGarry, Cartier Middle East managing director told the paper -- Albawaba.com
