A Lebanese man was seriously injured Monday when two gas canisters exploded in his car as he was entering the Lebanese coastal city of Sidon, police said.
Mahmud Hawila, 39, was seriously injured and rushed to hospital following the explosion, which destroyed the rear end of his car.
No one else was injured in the blast.
Hawila was delivering the gas canisters to a grocer's shop. The use of liquid gas for domestic purposes is widespread in Lebanon -- SIDON, Lebanon (AFP)
