According to an official statement by the British Embassy in Rabat, Tessa Jowell, British Minister Responsible for the Culture, the Media and the Sports, invited Morocco, South Africa, China, India and Jamaica to participate in co-productions with Britain's film industry.
<i>Emarrakech</i> reports that Britain will start negotiations with these five countries to formulize agreements, which will make collaboration possible in order to carry out film projects in the near future. In 2004, the United Kingdom carried out the co-production of 83 film projects that represented a total value of 142 million pounds.
