A trailer for the eagerly awaited movie sequel Blair Witch 2: Book of Shadows has been posted exclusively on the internet.
Last year's original Blair Witch Project, costing only
$150,000 to make but grossing more than $140 million worldwide, used the internet to conduct a hugely successful word-of-mouth advertising campaign.
The one-minute, 40-second trailer for the sequel, starring Erica Leerhsen, Stephen Barker, Tristen Skyler and Jeffrey Donovan, reflects the themes of the new movie, which involves a group of friends who meet on the internet and travel to the setting of the
first film.
Web company Yahoo has exclusive rights to the trailer, whilst
the full film opens in America next month – WENN.
