ALBAWABA - President Joe Biden, who has recently announced his exit from the presidential race, has officially endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic candidate.

In a statement released on social media, Biden praised his decision to select Harris as his running mate in the 2020 election, calling it one of his most significant choices.

Biden expressed full support for Harris, stating, "Today, I am giving my complete endorsement and backing for Kamala to be our party's nominee." He urged Democrats to come together and work towards defeating Republican candidate Donald Trump.

Should Kamala Harris secure the necessary delegate votes at the Democratic National Convention, she will be confirmed as the official Democratic nominee for the upcoming election.

The decision of President Joe Biden to abstain from the next presidential elections in the United States has been made public. Biden said in a statement that he will explain his choice to the country later this week. He stressed that he will focus only on his presidential responsibilities till the end of his current term.

Biden feels that it is best for his party and the nation for him to withdraw from the presidential contest. He said that for the balance of his term in office, he will focus only on carrying out his duties as President.
