ALBAWABA - The decision of President Joe Biden to abstain from the next presidential elections in the United States has been made public. Biden said in a statement that he will explain his choice to the country later this week. He stressed that he will focus only on his presidential responsibilities till the end of his current term.

Biden feels that it is best for his party and the nation for him to withdraw from the presidential contest. He said that for the balance of his term in office, he will focus only on carrying out his duties as President.

Additionally, Biden took a moment to extend his gratitude to Vice President Kamala Harris, whom he praised as an exceptional partner throughout his presidency. His acknowledgment highlights the collaborative efforts and support that have marked his administration.

In a statement posted on his X platform page, President Biden said, "It has been a great honor in my life to serve as your President."

Recently, Biden faced increasing calls to withdraw from the presidential race and end his re-election bid, following a lackluster performance in a debate against Trump last month and growing concerns about his mental and physical capabilities.
