Factiva (Dow Jones and Reuters company) reported that Bellmetrix, an American based company, has met the challenge as set by the US Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff to provide a "Worldwide Security Envelope". The BellMetrix solution enables screening of people and cargo while converging, comparing and sharing information from Multi-Agencies and Multi Data-Bases as well as multi biometric and security systems across national and international boundaries. The most critical challenges in homeland security today are the sharing of information between multiple data bases managed by individual police, jurisdiction, intelligence security and government agencies, to verify and identify personnel and cargo universally, manage budgets and get the fastest return on industries’ and governments’ investments. Designed to spearhead national and global personal and cargo identity management needs, BellMetrix’ has developed the first concept in its kind which secures revenue generation from operational security controls. Some airports in the Middle East have already expressed interest in this venture.
