Belgium to finance projects in Morocco

A Euro3.88 million gift, intended for the financing of two rural development projects, will be given by Belgium to Morocco. These projects will be part of the "Program for the Development of Rain-fed Agriculture (PMVB) and the construction of rural roads in the Souss-Massed-Draa region.

 

<i>Yabiladi</i> reports that the conventions concerning the granting of this generous gift were signed on Tuesday in Rabat. It was signed by the Belgian Minister of Development and Cooperation, Armand De Decker, and by the Moroccan Minister of Finance and Privatization, Fathallah Oualalou, the Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Maritime Fishing, Mohand Laensar. The Director of Roads and Traffic, Moha Hamaoui, was representing the Moroccan Minister of Transportation.
