AXA Insurance Gulf, one of the fastest growing non-life international insurers in the region, has been chosen by the RTA to be on the limited list of Trusted RTA agents. This allows AXA's customers to renew their car registrations along with the renewal of their motor insurance policy thus simplifying the renewal process for car owners on the whole.
The responsibility of registrations has been given only to a handful of insurance companies after a stringent selection process. Companies needed to match certain qualification criteria. For example, to show that they were well spread across the UAE, had unique service features and advanced IT capabilities.
Commenting on the new initiative, Jean-Louis Laurent Josi, CEO AXA Insurance Gulf said: "AXA works hard to make life convenient for its customers and provide innovative solutions and flexible service capabilities. We are proud to work with the RTA and are grateful to them for allowing us to provide this service to our customers. It goes without saying that our integrated services will further increase the satisfaction of our customers that is currently at 95% of customers being satisfied to very satisfied. Also, with this, AXA will be playing a pivotal role in minimizing non-registered vehicles on the roads of Dubai by encouraging customers to renew registrations at the time of renewing insurance policies."
Alexis de Beauregard, Chief Officer – Marketing and Retail Product Offering at AXA Insurance Gulf, said: "With this initiative, there is no need for anyone to visit the RTA office – and customers can access any of the following to complete their vehicle registration renewals: RTA branches, AXA branches, RTA call center, AXA call center, RTA e-services system, AXA online web portal. We have been running this service for a month now and are pleased to see that customers come to us specifically to avail it and have been asking for it increasingly
AXA has also unveiled its Risk Management plan to eliminate any possible mistakes in terms of requirements and procedures (mortgage clause release/No Plate certificates etc.). This includes a regular training program for AXA employees; a continuous communication process with the RTA for feedback and update; and a self auditing program for a better outcome and permanent monitoring.
