Star TV is getting ready to launch one of its most anticipated new romantic drama series of the season. Doğanın Kanunu (“The Law of Nature”) officially started filming and is already creating excitement across Turkish entertainment media ahead of its premiere.
Produced by Ay Yapım, the series brings together Alperen Duymaz and Özge Yağız in the leading roles for the first time. Turkish media reports say the first trailer for the project is set to be released tonight.
According to backstage information shared by entertainment journalists, the series is expected to air on Wednesday evenings. The first episode is expected to premiere on June 3 if post-production is completed on schedule. Otherwise, the release is expected to move to June 10.
Filming began in Istanbul before the production team moved to Urla last Wednesday to continue shooting. The coastal town of Urla, known for its natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere, plays an important role in the story and visual identity of the series.
Ali Bilgin and Beste Sultan Kasapoğulları direct the project. The screenplay was written by Barış Erdoğan and İlker Arslan, two names known for their successful work in Turkish television dramas.
At the center of the story is Doğa, played by Özge Yağız. Doğa’s life changes after she humiliates a man named Yaman during a job interview. Later, their paths unexpectedly cross again in Urla, where an emotional and romantic relationship slowly begins to develop between them.
Alperen Duymaz portrays Yaman, a strong and charismatic character whose complicated connection with Doğa becomes the emotional core of the series. Turkish media describe the project as a romantic drama mixed with entertaining moments, emotional tension, and family conflicts.
The supporting cast also includes many experienced and familiar faces from Turkish television. Hakan Yılmaz plays Hulusi, while Nur Yazar portrays Perihan. The cast additionally features Seda Türkmen, Hülya Duyar, Onur Berk Aslanoğlu, Bartu Zeytinci, Kübra Balcan, Olcay Yusufoğlu, Aziz Caner, Lara Aslan, Yiğitcan Ergin, Yüksel Ünal, Çağla Demir, and Müttalip Müjdeci.
