The Arab Trade Financing Program (ATFP) has approved lines of credit totaling $1.7 billion to member countries starting from its inception in 1991, the Gulf News said, quoting ATFP officials on Wednesday.
The total value of applications received was $2 billion, the paper reported, adding that the credit applications between June 1st and August 31st totaled a sum of $193 million.
According to the paper the ATFP also signed $175 million worth of credit lines to members. The meeting reviewed the report on ATFP fund performance and the financial results for the first half of this year - Albawaba.com
