The Algerian King of Rock'N'Rai Abdelkader Saadoun and his funky Rai band will be rocking the stage in the UK three times during May.
Saadoun and his band have garnered many positive reviews over recent years for their raving live performances, their upbeat Algerian grooves and the witty, energetic verve of their original songs. Touches of rock, jazz and electronica certainly make their mark during this new recording too, with rare freshness and spirit abounding.
In the 1980s, Maghribian emigrants took Rai to France, gave it a modern coating and made it hugely popular. Later, Rai has crossed the channel and gained ground in Great Britain.
