Saudi King Fahd bin Abdulaziz received at his residence in Geneva on Thursday Algerian President Abdulaziz Bouteflika and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments at the Arab, Islamic and international dimensions, especially the Middle East situation, the Palestinian issue and Israeli occupation forces' “killing and destruction” of the Palestinians, the official Saudi Press Agency SPA reported.
King Fahd and the Algerian President emphasized their ongoing strong support for the Palestinian cause and their permanent stand by the Palestinian National Authority until the Palestinians “regain their legitimate rights” and establish their independent state with Alquds as its capital, SPA added.
In addition, aspects of cooperation between the two brotherly countries and means of strengthening them were reviewed.
The meeting was attended by Prince Mishaal bin Abdulaziz; Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Riyadh Region; Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources for Petroleum Affairs; other princes; ministers; and high-ranking officials.
