Al Bustan Centre & Residence hosts Middle East Fitness Awareness Week

Al Bustan Centre & Residence, the deluxe hotel apartments which offer world-class services and facilities in the heart of Dubai, is the official venue of the Middle East Fitness Awareness Week being held in Dubai from March 20 to 26 between 5pm to 9pm.

The event aims to create awareness about obesity and propose solutions to control weight. The event is expected to stimulate collective responsibility and motivate the whole community to adopt a healthy lifestyle. It also intends to encourage people and help them achieve their fitness goals. The target audiences of the workshop are Dubai Police, multinational companies, banks, hotels, private and government sectors, schools, colleges and various associations.

Moussa El Hayek, Chief Operating Officer of Al Bustan Centre & Residence, said: “As it is an extremely important workshop and related to the health of people, we urge general public to visit the property and get a free health assessment check-up. In conjunction with the workshop and to make the event attractive, the organizer is also holding a free fitness challenge and a quiz show where people can answer simple questions and win prizes.”

According to Moussa the property is dedicated to a comprehensive national vision to reverse the rising rates of obesity in the UAE through physical activity, balanced diet and positive health initiatives, including the development and implementation of programmes that promote regular physical activity and nutrition. Through its fitness centre Al Bustan Centre & Residence has encouraged the local community to eat healthy food and be active.

Thus the property regularly offers very attractive discounts and promotions at the Health Club (separate for men and women), where guests can experience the modern equipment to burn out those extra calories and keep fit.
