ALBAWABA - Debris fell on Sunday in Eilat in Israel following the interception of a missile over Aqaba, Jordan, Al Jazeera reported.
According to AFP, Israeli and Jordanian forces intercepted an Iranian missile aimed at the Jordanian city of Aqaba on Sunday, the Israeli army told AFP.
Jordanian media said that air raid sirens were heard in Aqaba and Amman following the launch of an Iranian missile towards the country.
The spokesperson of the Israeli military, Avichay Adraee, said via X, "Moments ago, the launch of missiles from Iran toward the city of Aqaba in Jordan, located near the territories of the State of Israel, was detected, which may result in shrapnel falling within Israeli territory as a result of this launch."
