40 pilgrims were killed and 10 others were wounded when their bus crashed into a large cargo truck in the region of al-Ihsaa in eastern Saudi Arabia early on Wednesday, the Saudi press agency (SPA) reported.
The bus was carrying 60 pilgrims traveling from the United Arab Emirates to perform the religious services via al-Bathaa border checkpoint.

The accident started a fire in the bus, causing the death of some 40 people. Twelve passengers survived the accident. The dead included 37 Pakistanis, a Saudi, an Egyptian, and a Syrian. (Albawaba.com)
