The city of Rabat will host the 27th edition of the International Moussem of Assilah from August 5 to 19. The event, organized by the Forum of Assilah Foundation, will be attended by numerous thinkers, researchers, academicians and artist-painters, coming from a number of countries. <i>EMarrakrch</i> reports that the event is going to be underlined by a series of conferences, initiated within the framework of the 20th edition of Al Moatamid Ibn Abbad summer school, scheduled to take place from August 6 to 18.
The planned conferences will deal with the following issues: "Africa’s Tomorrow: What kind of Africa?" (August 6 and 7), "The Morocco-Spanish joint heritage and bilateral relations’ prospects" (August 8-9), "Music in the Moslem World", (August 10 and 11), "Islam according to our conception and that of others" (12 to May 14), "The Maghrebian Novel in the Maghreb countries and abroad" (16 to August 18).
