After a month-long vacation, the 1st National Soccer League is returning strong today with four games beginning tonight, according to Al-Watan daily.
The hiatus was because of Al-Fiter feast. The most hyped match is expected to be between the league leader Al-Orouba (21 points) against 8th place Ruwa (10 points). Ruwa is hoping that playing at home will give them the winning edge.
Another match is between second place Al-Seeb (19 points) that will face last place Fanjaa (2 points). Al-Seeb needs this win if it stands a chance of overtaking the league leaders. Fanjaa needs the win just to stay alive.
In the third game, 6th place Boshar (12 points) will meet 4th place Al-Suwaiq (15 points). Boshar's coach recently resigned.
In the fourth clash, 7th place Dhofar (11 points), will meet Sour Club, which is second to last place with 8 points.
A fifth game was scheduled between Al-Nassr and Sohar but was delayed because the former is playing in the Gulf Football Championship.
