113 Israelis are believed to be still missing in US following the terrorist attacks that slammed New York and Washington on Tuesday, reported Haaretz newspaper.

Two Israelis are known to have died on the two flights which crashed into the Twin Towers on Tuesday, the paper said earlier.

New York officials vowed yesterday to keep hunting for survivors in half a million tons of twisted metal and debris from the devastated World Trade Center, though no one has been found alive in three days.

Meanwhile, hundreds of Israelis took part in a rally Saturday evening in Tel Aviv's Rabin Square to show support for the United States and identify with the victim's of Tuesday's terror attacks.

Among those who spoke at the rally were Foreign Minister Shimon Peres, US Ambassador to Israel Daniel Kurtzer and Tel Aviv Mayor Ron Huldai.

One thousand police officers secured the rally, Haaretz said – Albawaba.com
