Motorola to showcase most powerful innovative mobile devices

The latest innovate and most powerful devices from Motorola Mobility look set to be on show at this year’s Mobile World Congress from 14-17 February in Barcelona, Spain, senior executives have announced.
The Mobile World Congress, which began as a gathering of Operator Members, has now grown to include device manufacturers, service providers and application developers. The Forum has become an ideal industry platform for the emergence of new mobile technologies.
“We look forward to showcasing our latest and most powerful technologies, our ideas, and to networking with other industry leaders. This year is an exciting time for mobile communications as we expand our product range and as we create and deliver new devices for customers that are always on the move,” said Raed Hafez, General Manager, Middle East & Africa, Motorola Mobility.
Visitors to Motorola’s stand -8A28, Stand 8A51 - will be able to take part in key experiences around the company’s latest innovative products – the Motorola XOOM and the Motorola ATRIX.
Motorola ATRIX is the world’s most powerful smartphone with a dual-core processor that is the fastest yet offered in a mobile phone and is designed to essentially become a user’s primary digital hub to create, edit and interact with documents, media and content.
Facilitated by Motorola’s webtop application and incredible new accessory docks, such as the Laptop Dock, this latest product will provide users with a larger screen, keyboard and trackpad enabling them to have an enhanced and more interactive computer-like experience with their devices.
A 1GHz dual-core processor capable of opening web pages twice as fast as most other smartphones, rendering games faster and displaying HD video on big-screen TVs.
Motorola XOOM is the first device to incorporate Android 3.0 Honeycomb, Google’s powerful new operating system developed from the ground up specifically for tablets. Boasting a best-in-class dual core processor, the stylishly thin Motorola XOOM offers a ground-breaking mobile computing experience.
It is the first tablet to connect to the new Google Mobile Innovation service offering books, music and movies – anytime, anywhere – and all in HD optimized for Motorola XOOM’s 10.1-inch widescreen (16:9).
With high-definition (1280x800) 10.1-inch widescreen (16:9) display, the XOOM is perfect for watching HD video in landscape mode and narrow enough for convenient two-handed on-screen typing in portrait mode.
The smallest 10.1-inch tablet available, Motorola’s XOOM delivers 51 percent more video than the leading competitor relative to the front of the device and also features unique dock options that allow HD content streaming to TV and easy connection to PC accessories like mouse and keyboard devices.
A fully functioning HD camcorder and a 5MP camera to view and edit videos and photos immediately is also available.
Last year, over 49,000 mobile professionals from 182 countries attended the Mobile World Congress, an event that is renowned with world-class thought leadership conferences featuring action-provoking panel discussions and visionary keynote speakers.
