Injazat to discuss business-driven IT strategies for 2011 at Gulf IT Service Management Forum

Injazat Data Systems, the leading information technology and business process managed services provider in the UAE, will discuss key business-driven information and communications technology (ICT) strategies during a workshop to be organized by the IT Service Management Forum (itSMF Gulf) today, Monday, January 31, 2011, at the Injazat Auditorium in Mohammed Bin Zayed City, Abu Dhabi.
To be held under the theme ‘Do You Have Your ICT Strategy Ready for 2011?,’ the session will combine theory, results from actual projects and expert testimonies. Injazat’s Head of Consulting Services Mr. Gregory Trinh will deliver a presentation titled ‘What does it take to develop a business driven IT strategy’ and follow the topic with “Achieving operational efficiency through business process mapping and re-engineering.’ Other prominent speakers include Feras Abou Shackra, Founding Member and Director of itSMF Gulf, and Amal Al Ghaferi, ICT Manager of the UAE National Rehabilitation Center, who will outline the workshop’s case study.
Ali Al Neaimi, Client Care Director at Injazat Data Systems, said: “This year we are seeing most of our clients focusing on the need to have a definite IT strategy, which is why we were keen to leverage this forum as a platform for sharing our knowledge and experience in this domain. This year is expected to seize the momentum of 2010 and continue the journey towards global economic recovery. For ICT businesses, this requires a thorough evaluation of their current processes and how they fit expected opportunities in 2011. Sound, business-driven strategies should be put in place to give ICT enterprises an edge within a market which has been able to remain lucrative amidst the downturn and is poised for phenomenal growth in the next few years.”
