Epson’s Stylus Pro printer range to headline showcase at Sign & Graphic Imaging 2011

Epson has announced that its Stylus Pro printers will headline its product showcase at the Sign & Graphic Imaging Middle East 2011, the largest and the longest-running event for the Middle East’s signage, outdoor media, screen and digital printing industries that will be held at the Dubai Airport Expo from January 24 to 26, 2011.

Epson's centrepiece showcase at the event will include the Stylus Pro 9700, Stylus Pro 7900, Stylus Pro 11880, Stylus Pro WT7900 and Stylus Pro 4900, which all represent a level of printing technology unprecedented within the Engineering Scientific and Display Signage markets. Epson further announced that it will also be presenting the rest of its premium range of printing solutions, including its high-performing large format printers at the Sign & Graphic Imaging Middle East 2011.

The Epson Stylus Pro 9700 incorporates the latest achievements in high-performance ink jet printing, combining the extreme precision of a MicroPiezo TFP print head with the extraordinary performance of UltraChrome Vivid Magenta Ink. Epson Stylus Pro 7900 sets a new standard for the professional large format printer market as it is ideal for production and contract proofing, as well as the highest quality fine-art and photographic applications.

The Stylus Pro 11880, the first 64-inch large format printer from Epson, incorporates the latest Epson Micro Piezo Thin Film Piezo (TFP) printhead for superior printing performance and is optimised for pigment ink technology. Targeting the packaging proofing market, the Stylus Pro WT7900 is a 610mm wide (24in) printer that uses the first water-based white ink in the market. The Epson Stylus Pro 4900 combines the precision of Epson's MicroPiezo TFP print head with the performance of Epson UltraChrome HDR ink to deliver high quality prints, fast print speeds, and an extremely wide colour gamut.
