Lina Diab went AWOL earlier this month, and there are about as many rumors out there as to her whereabouts as there are days that she's been missing.
The Syrian actress was alleged to have been in a horrific car accident in the Jordan's capital city that put her in a coma, but her sister Rana has finally spoken up with a small amount of clarification on her celebrity sibling's status. She assured that Lina was not in a car accident in Amman or suffering from serious injury.
Lina is keeping a low profile in Lebanon for personal reasons, Rana explained. Her exact location is still the family's best kept secret. Well, that and the truth behind her hiding from the public eye.
And for that, no doubt, about dozen or so rumors will surely still be tossed around.
We're also still left wondering when and if production will continue for the TV show "Fares Wa Khams Awanes" (Fares and the Five Spinsters) that's supposed to be starring the actress that's still MIA! We can't imagine that Rana's brief update has made producers left hanging on filming any happier.
