The saddest day in any person's life is the day they lose a parent. Sadly, that day has come for Egyptian singer Ehab Tawfiq, whose beloved mother passed away after a long battle with cancer.
Prior to her death, Ehab had accompanied his mother on a number of medical trips overseas before returning to Egypt, where she continued her treatment.
According to Laha Magazine, upon their return to Egypt, Ehab's mother could not fight cancer any longer and passed away at the early hours of Wednesday October 22.
The first person to announce the news was Egyptian song poet Ayman Bahjat Qamar, who is a very good friend of Ehab's.
Ayman wrote a letter of sympathy to Ehab, where he described the singer's mother as "a great woman who played a very important role in Ehab's success and stardom."
