Concurrently, two Iraqi security sources made the announcement that the well-known "TikTok" user was shot and killed in her vehicle on Friday night in Baghdad. Last year, authorities sentenced her to jail for posting "inappropriate" information on social media.
The two authorities who spoke to the AFP claimed that an unidentified motorcyclist killed Ghufran Mahdi Sawadi outside her home in downtown Baghdad.
Users from Iraq on social networking sites like X (formerly Twitter) claim that Dalia Naeem accused Om Fahad of the rape, abduction, and stabbing her with an iron skewer that occurred not long ago.
Following their previous online feuds, Dalia Naeem assumes that Om Fahad was seeking retribution by doing this.
Because Om Fahd became famous for sharing videos of herself dancing to music, tens of millions of people follow her on Instagram and TikTok.
In February 2023, an Iraqi court sentenced her to six months in jail for "publishing several films and videos containing obscene statements that violate modesty and public morals and displaying them to the public via social media sites."
