If you were looking forward to seeing Lebanese TV host Nishan on TV this Ramadan, then you're in for a big disappointment.
The Ramadan TV-regular was set to host the celebrity talk show "Writing Ramadan" on MTV and Abu Dhabi TV, but has now been replaced by Lebanese TV hosts Razan Moghrabi and Wissam Breidy at the last minute, reported Annahar news.
Why the sudden change of heart? Annahar news reported that Nishan was unhappy with the show's format, which consists of exploring one Ramadan TV drama each week, by interviewing its leading characters and discussing its plot, costumes, music and things of the sort.
But our Nishan wanted more - he was hoping to ask the actors much more personal questions about their private lives, just like he's gotten used to in his previous talk shows, such as in "Ana Wel Assal" (The Honey and I), according to the show's producer Eyad Najjar.
Najjar explained that the public will get to vote for their favourite drama (in different categories) through "Writing Ramadan," after which a large awards ceremony will be held to announce the winners on October 15 in the UAE.
Sorry, Nishan, but you've just missed out on a unique show idea!
