It's no secret that American Grammy-nominated singer and actor Tyrese is a huge fan of the Middle East.

He often refers to his Arab friends as "my family," and fully embraces their culture whenever he makes one of his frequent trips to the ME.

However, someone has recently questioned Tyrese's love for his Muslim friends, and demanded to know whether he was "getting paid to speak positively about Muslims" or not.

Tyrese, who is a devout newborn Christian, was quick to clear the air.

The 38-year-old actor took to Instagram and explained, in detail, just exactly why he has Muslims' backs.

"So crazy - someone just texted me to ask am I being paid to say positive things about muslims? No..... I'm not..... I just so happy to love the people of the Middle East cause they're so kind and sincere most people don't know this but after our brother PW died I stayed home and never left my house for a month the first flight I took was to the Middle East and the people and culture embraced me in a way that changed my life forever it was the first time I had smiled since I lost my brother- I will never ever forget what was done for me - so yes I love my people and they love me! #Prayer changes things.......

"This image just brought tears to my eyes...... blessings love and light to the muslims of our world.... There's always a few bad seeds from every group and religion it happens not all Muslims should suffer because of the acts of some hate groups this breaks my heart they're now praying at baggage claim until things change. (sic)"

By a stroke of good luck, that same day an old video emerged of Tyrese looking sexy in a traditional Emirati thoab as he made his way to passport control to catch a flight to Dubai.

In the video, the paparazzi could be heard questioning Tyrese about his wardrobe choice.

In his usual suave manner, the actor explained that "I'm going out to Dubai to see my family and loved ones, so I dressed this way because I respect the culture and tradition."

When asked if he felt comfortable in his Gulfie attire, Tyrese cheekily smiled and said, "I'm very comfortable." Word.
