Tyrese Gibson, a regular visitor to the Arab world, wished Muslims a happy Eid El-Fitr (the Muslim holiday which falls on the first day after Ramadan ends) on Monday.
In a moving Facebook message, Tyrese wrote, "With Ramadan coming to an end I would like to be the first to wish all of my Muslim friends all over the world a blessed and joyful Eid Alfitr. EID Mubarak to you and all of your loved ones. EID MUBARAK!!! I know there's a lot of negativity in the press and media every day but I will continue to tell the world I know and have met some of the best people in the world in the Middle East...... Blessings and love!!"
The American Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter, actor and model is known for dressing in traditional Arabic clothing whenever he is visiting the region.
His last trip to the Middle East was to Qatar in May, where he was pictured in the elegant traditional Qatari thobe.
Tyrese also filmed "The Fast and the Furious 7" in Abu Dhabi in 2014.
It's refreshing to see a Hollywood celebrity with this much love and understanding for the troubled ME, and a tolerance for the Muslim faith.
