Young Egyptian singer and actress May Kassab is starring in her very own film! “Al Nabatshi” is an Egyptian folkloric film based in the traditional downtown neighborhoods of Egypt.
According to Elaph news, May will be playing the leading female role alongside Mahmoud Abdel Ghani, Hala Siddiq and Edward.
Although the movie’s storyline has been kept hush hush, some sources claim that it revolves around a young man (Abdel Ghani) who works as a local wedding presenter and collector of monetary gifts for the bride and groom.
The film was written by Samir Mabrouk, will be directed by Ismael Farouq and produced by “New Century Productions.”
But the actors better get filming fast, because the release date has been already set for this Ramadan!
