ALBAWABA - Singer Lizzo announced her decision to "quit" in an emotional statement on Friday. While she didn't specify what she meant exactly, speculations pointed out she might be discussing her job in music.

The 35-year-old "Rumours" singer made an emotional revelation on Instagram on Friday, March 29, in response to critics, who attacked the Democratic National Committee for selecting her to kick off Joe Biden's Radio City fundraiser.

Lizzo discussed the controversies she has been involved in and the treatment she has received in the industry and online.

"Everyone in my life and on the internet can no longer manipulate me. My only goals in life are to create music, cheer people up, and leave the world a little bit better than when I found it. However, I'm beginning to feel like I don't belong in this world," she stated.

An additional legal dispute has been introduced for Lizzo, as a lawsuit has been initiated by a former employee against the Grammy Award winner and multiple individuals from her team.

The lawsuit was filed on Thursday by the attorney for fashion designer Asha Daniels, who claims that Lizzo and her group permitted racial discrimination, harassment, and bullying to happen while she was on tour. The lawsuit alleges that Amanda Nomura, Lizzo's wardrobe manager, made disparaging statements about artists and put them in awkward circumstances, according to NBC News.

Daniels reportedly lost her job as a seamstress and clothes designer on Lizzo's tour after voicing concerns about Nomura's actions. Lizzo, her tour manager, and Big Grrrl Big Touring, Inc., her production firm, are also named as defendants in the lawsuit.
