Julianne Moore stuck to classic black as she arrived to view Tom Ford's Fall Winter 2018 show at New York Fashion Week on Thursday.

The actress, 57, paired a scoop-neck top with drawstring pants with cuffs at the ankles.

She added a tailored jacket that she wore with the sleeves rolled up to the elbows.

Julianne was accompanied to the runway show by her husband Bart Freundlich.

The 48-year-old director looked sharp in a black tailored two-piece suit with a white shirt that he left unbuttoned at the collar.

The couple have been married since 2003 and share two children - daughter Liv, 15, and son Caleb, 20.

Meanwhile, Swedish actress Alicia Vikander has told Vogue that Julianne came to her defense on the set of their 2014 movie Seventh Son.

Alicia, 29, revealed how a man in a position of power on the production made a joke at her expense during filming.

'I was really embarrassed, and I would have just laughed it off,' the new Tomb Raider star told the magazine. 'But Julianne turned to him and said, ‘If you ever do that again, I'm walking out of here and I'm not coming back.''

'She was just, like, ‘Don't you f--king say that again.' It showed me that she had the power. And that meant so much to me,' she added.
