Tunisian actress Hind Sabri revealed that she will make a public announcement in the upcoming few days about her engagement to Syrian actor Basil Khayat. Numerous rumors had been surfacing about the involvement of Hind with Basil, but the actress stressed that the engagement has not occurred yet and she will announce it once it is official.

According to the London based, Elaph, Hind appeared with Basil for the first time three months ago at the special screen preview of her film “Khali min el Cholesterol” (Cholesterol Free) alongside prominent Egyptian actress Elham Shahin. At the screening, Hind made it a point to introduce Basil to critics and journalists, pointing out that he starred in the film “Bab Al Shams”, which was being screened in different Egyptian cinema houses.

On a different note, Hind has been presented with an award for Best Actress in her role in the film “Ahla Al Awqat” (The Best of Times) during an awards ceremony at the Journalists Association in Egypt. The award marks the actress’s fourth she has received for the same role during the past year.

Hind has expressed her honor at receiving the awards for her role in the film, which critics have stressed she had played it to perfection as if she was truly an Egyptian girl. Sources have it the film will be screened exclusively on Rotana Cinema satellite channel during the first week of April.

The film marks the first all leading female actresses in Egyptian cinema history. The film is a first time experience for Egyptian director Hala Khalil and scenarist Wisam Sulieman. The film features three lead actresses, who are also good friends in real life. Egyptian actresses Hanan, Muna Shalabi, and Hind Sabri costar alongside one another in the film.

It was revealed that no males took part in the creation of the film except for the head cameraman and six males who took part in minor roles throughout the film. Hala stressed that the fact that the cast of the film are all females was not a coincidence, for the mere fact that the film revolves around the story of three women who are the best of friends. The film tackles the idea of how people accept problems they face in society and how they find ways to overcome all obstacles.
