Arutz Sheva got a chance to sit down and talk with Israeli blues and rock musician Lazer Lloyd about his music and mission, and the answer to the question - is he a hipster or a hassid?

On December 24, Lloyd released on the internet his new song "X-MAS BLUES," accompanied with the words, "now If you can't get a good Christmas song from a long bearded Jew from Israel than where can ya?"

The song sympathizes with those who are alone on Christmas, emphasizing the importance of unity and caring for others.

Lazer, whose self-titled new CD on Lots of Love Records topped the blues-rock charts over the summer of 2015, is to head back to the US in late January for live performances.

The musician says at the core of his music is "blues, roots rock, folk, it’s real; it’s about everyone’s life story and it heals."
