Comedian actor Farouk Naguib died in hospital at the age of 73 on Tuesday night. He has long suffered with a chronic illness and was hospital-bound for treatment after having a stroke.
Father Botros Daniel, the head of the Catholic Centre, offered his deepest condolences to Farouk’s family and friends, and asked his own Facebook followers to pray for him.
Farouk was a renowned comedian with a long career in the entertainment world. His best-known work was the play “Love in al Takhsheebah” and “Juha Sold His Donkey.”
