Lebanese singer Fadel Shaker is scheduled to hold a grand performance in Abu Dhabi on December 8, 2005 for the launching of the internationally famous car race Formula One. Fadel will be singing alongside Lebanese singers Haifa Wahbi and Nancy Ajram as well as UAE singer Hussein Al Jasmi.

According to the London based Elaph, during his stay in the UAE, Fadel intends on filming an episode for the musical program “Dandana” for the Arab satellite television station MBC, which is based in Dubai.

The singer is also in the process of finalizing the recording of the songs for his upcoming album scheduled for release on New Year’s Eve. Fadel’s New Year performance will be in Lebanon where he will be holding two separate performances.

Fadel has chosen a new song over the phone to include in his album.

Composer Waleed Saed, whom Shaker had worked with in the past, called the singer to play him part of a song.  Fadel really enjoyed the score and requested to hear it in its entirety.

After hearing the song over the phone, Fadel requested that the composer reserve the song for him, and within three days during his stay in Cairo, Fadel had recorded the song.

The singer expects the song will be a great success, and revealed that it falls under the romance genre.
