While celebrities seem like fair game for a bit of mockery, Lebanese satellite channel, LBC, hadn't reckoned on the wrath of X Factor judge, Elissa, when they started nicknaming talent show judging panels.
This week's episode of their comedy show, 'Bas Mat Watan', decided to give the judges on both X Factor and Arab Idol a hard time. Presenters renamed the panels, calling UAE songstress, Ahlam, 'Kawabees' (Nightmare) and Lebanese lovely, Elissa, 'Khabitha' (Cruel).
While most of the celebs took the joke on the chin, the insult was too much for erratic songtress, Elissa, who decided to fight back on her Twitter account.
The 'Lips of Lebanon' decided enough was enough and tweeted: "It seems that nowadys being successful is like being a criminal, all I can say it's really funny and i feel pity 4 some people."
According to the online magazine Sayidaty.net, Elissa is very sensitive about her role as judge on X Factor Arabia and takes pride in being supportive of young wannabes. So she took the joke about being cruel particularly badly.
