This must be the biggest joke of the year: The UAE has banned former Egyptian actress Hanan Turk from entering their country, on the basis that she is a "terrorist threat" to them, reported Al Jaras magazine.
Hanan was prohibited from entering the UAE because she happens to be married to a member of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood. The MB works with the Islamic Relief Fund, whom the UAE considers a terrorist organisation.
Meanwhile, they have had absolutely no problem letting scandalous American socialite Kim Kardashian in, despite the fact that she goes against their conservative traditions and Islamic rules.
Social media heavily ridiculed the UAE for this move, especially that Kim was welcomed by members of the royal family upon her arrival!
One social media user wrote, "Hanan Turk was banned from entering the UAE and was placed on the terrorist list, while Kim Kardashian is cruising the UAE and was greeted by royalty."
Kim was in Dubai to promote her latest perfume Fleur Fatale. The filthy rich reality star partied in both Dubai and in Abu Dhabi, managing to go on a desert safari in Dubai and attend different F1 events and concerts on Yas Island in AD.
