A Cairo court has set November 8 as the trial date for Egyptian TV host Riham Said, presenter of the program "Sabaya Al Khair", after the the program's assistant director filed a lawsuit against her accusing her of assault.

According to Laha Magazine, assistant director Mohammad Maher stated that Riham physically assaulted him while filming her program after he opposed her interference in his job.

Mohammad's lawyer said that they demand Riham to pay a fine of 40 thousand Egyptian pounds and added that Riham was called in for questioning by the court several times, but she failed to show up.

The incident allegedly occurred during the Ramadan season this year when Riham was presenting the program "Qalbak Abyad" (Your Heart is Pure). A major conflict broke out between the two, which led Riham to use physical force against him.

This isn't the first time she's caused scandal on her show!
