Lebanese singer Amal Hijazi has recently announced that her upcoming album will not be produced by her production company Music Master, and shortly afterwards revealed that she had broken her contract and separated completely from the company. It was revealed that Amal’s new album will be produced by the music production Rotana, which the singer had been holding extensive negotiations with.
According to the London based Elaph, Amal did not deny her cooperation with Rotana, but stressed that she had not signed the contract up till now. The singer’s album is basically complete and will be ready for release by April, which will also reveal the validity of her new contract.
songs featured in the album are a mix of modern and romance sung in both the Egyptian and Lebanese accents. Amal has so far completed the recording of five songs, which are written and composed by some of the most prominent names in the music industry.
Amal had recently announced that her production company Music Master might not produce the new album. She denied the existence of any form of disputes simply saying they did not agree on some issues and that the music industry relies on supply and demand.
Despite past differences and disputes, Hijazi has put everything aside and made a personal visit to Lebanese singer Alissa to give her condolences after the latter lost her father to cancer. Alissa welcomed Amal with open arms and expressed her gratitude towards Amal’s attempt to stand by her side at such a troublesome time. – Albawaba.com
