As MBC pulled the curtain on Arabs Got Talent (AGT) season 4 on Saturday night, Salah The Entertainer celebrated winning the title of the Arab world's most talented act.
Judges Lebanese superstar Najwa Karam, Egyptian comedian actor Ahmed Helmy, Saudi actor Nasser al Qasabi and head of MBC Group Ali Jaber used the finale to deliver messages of hope to the losing contestants and to the world.
Jaber addressed an important message to the world, asking them not to judge Arabs by their covers!
“In this programme, MBC has shown the entire world the truth about the Arab world and the truth about Arabs in this region and worldwide,” he said. “We are these people, not the ones you are shown in the media. We are Arabs who love art, we are part of the humanitarian artistic movement. You finalists are all stars, no one can remove this stardom from you.”
MBC TV airs the talent competition, in addition to Arab Idol and numerous other cultural and entertainment programs, films, TV dramas and talk shows.
Meanwhile, Najwa assured contestants that the AGT stage is a turning point in their lives and a shortcut to fame.
Nasser advised all the acts not to take anything for granted, but encouraged them to develop their talents, because he believes that we all have a hidden talent inside.
Finally, Helmy jokingly called the losing contestants "losers," adding that every winner is a "loser" too if they don't make the most out of their talent and the opportunity they've been presented with. He consoled all the performers by saying that every loser is a winner for appearing on the AGT stage.
We couldn't agree more with all four judges!
