An unknown dog was spotted roaming a park in southern Ohio with a permanent marker splattered across her body.
The Humane Society Animal Shelter in Chillicothe took part in a white lab mix, who was found with words 'FREE' as well as 'Good Home Only' and 'I am a gift from God' written on her.
Staff members at the shelter have since renamed the pup Marvella, meaning 'miracle to marvel at'
Staff member Brittany May shamed the unknown person who wrote Marvella in a statement posted to her Facebook page.
May have the individual responsible for the 'LOW!'
The pup, has been bathed, and the permanent marker of cartridges, removed from her fur, May said.
Anyone interested in adopting the dog may contact the Ross County Humane Society.
The department said Marvella will be available for adoption on Wednesday.
