ALBAWABA – X (formerly Twitter), a well-known and used social media platform, said it experienced a security glitch that caused hidden likes by users to be shown on the platform. X launched the new feature that enables users to hide their own likes a short while back.

The social media platform emailed its users, informing them about the security glitch that revealed all hidden likes. X announced receiving information and emails from users complaining about this defect and the company confirmed that it has taken the necessary measures to protect the privacy of its users all the time.
X Private Likes feature
X launched its “Private Likes” feature last month, the platform previously allowed users to view the list of likes for public accounts, but announced launching this new feature that allows users to hide likes in accordance to privacy measures and rules.
