With the world’s largest country network for an airline, Turkish Airlines is celebrating taking off to Malta this week as the 100th country destination for the global carrier, the national carrier of Turkey and Europe’s best airline*.

Building on credentials as one of the world’s fastest growing carriers, Turkish Airlines operates the world’s 4th largest flight network, and with the addition of Malta now flies to 226 destinations across 100 countries.

Malta, and its sister islands Gozo and Comino, offer a holiday seekers paradise with an abundance of historical riches, sandy beaches and stunning natural scenery. Italian culinary delights with an Arabian twist are served from Mediterranean restaurants on the quaint historic streets and the turquoise sea offers a diving and sailing paradise with the incredible Unesco World Heritage sites Gozo’s Blue Hole and Azure Window.

To celebrate Malta as the 100th country destination, Turkish Airlines has launched introductory round trip fares of 99 Euros from Istanbul to Malta International Airport, inclusive of taxes, fees and surcharges. Flights begin on May 25, 2013 and will operate three times a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Travelers from Turkish Airlines 32 Middle East destinations can fly via Istanbul to the charming Mediterranean Island of Malta.
