Software AG appoints Bashar Yaish as VP for Gulf

Software AG has announced the appointment of Bashar Yaish as Vice President for the Gulf Region. Yaish, who will be based in Dubai, brings over 15 years of professional expertise to the German software giant, spending more than a decade successfully enhancing technology sales performances across the UK, Ireland and Middle East markets. 

A former Senior Sales Team Leader at Oracle Systems Ltd., Yaish will oversee the expansion of Software AG’s business in the Middle East, with a specific focus on the Gulf, one of the world’s fastest growing information and communications technology (ICT) markets. Yaish will tap his exceptional business development, client relationship and account management expertise to further advance Software AG’s presence and reach in the region. Among his initial priorities will be to maximize opportunities from existing strategic business alliances and partnerships, position the company as a trusted advisor in Middleware solutions, and ensure that the company remains on the cutting edge of regional ICT.
